The presentation and flavors were excellent, although we found the cinnamon bun to be slightly dry. There was a delay with the banana waffles (not sure what happened), but the server was incredibly apologetic and ended up comping the item, which we appreciated as we didn't ask for it. The prices may be on the higher side for the portion sizes, but the food was well-prepared and delicious. The menu featured a nice balance of light and hearty plant-based dishes, and we would love to return to try some of the dinner options.
This trendy vegan restaurant is stylish and offers great service, with a high-quality atmosphere. The menu is decently sized though not extensive, and prices are a tad high, especially if you indulge in cocktails and appetizers. We've visited twice and it always seems busy, so making reservations is recommended. There are plenty of parking options nearby, including affordable parking garages and street parking.
The restaurant is amazing, with beautiful decorations and a very Instagram-worthy atmosphere. The patio and open bay windows add a cool touch and create a lovely outdoor seating experience. Even though I'm not vegan, the food was delicious. The service was excellent, I had a wonderful time, and the staff recommendations were perfect. I will definitely return in the future.
I miss dining at upscale vegan restaurants, and this one in the DC area is one of the best. The menu is entirely plant-based and delightful. It does not disappoint. However, be prepared for the prices to match the upscale dining experience. We ordered a variety of sushi and a pizza, and the bill was equivalent to a week's worth of groceries! Despite the cost, the high quality vegan food experience is worth it. The sushi and pizza are popular choices, and for good reason. The torched and pressed sushi was delicious, with avocado and rice adding extra flavor. The baked crab roll was unique and tasty, without seaweed. The dragon roll, filled with spinach and topped with avocado, was also quite delicious. The Crispy Rice roll was a hit, with its avocado and crispy rice element. While the flavors were great, there could have been more kick to the wasabi and more pickled ginger. The vodka pizza was flavorful and visually appealing. I would order any of the pizzas again without hesitation. The food was amazing and worth every dollar. Save up for this restaurant, it's a treat!
I once considered this restaurant to be the pinnacle of fine dining, but I believe they have become lazy. The food is now barely palatable. I have always been a huge fan of the bang bang broccoli, but recently the batter has been undercooked, resulting in a chewy texture. It is disappointing and disheartening. They really need to improve.
