If you're trying to get a cheap asian meal and kill your hunger, this is NOT the place to go to. I've been to other Ruby Thai Kitchen stores and I have never felt this disappointed in terms of food quality-price-amount amount of food served. The woman preparing the containers really makes sure to give you just a little bit of the protein. I felt robbed of my money. Not going back for sure.
Fried rice is ok, but could be a lot better. spicy Thai chicken is not spicy at all, shrimp entree texture is like eating cardboard box.
This restaurant had the potential to earn a 4 or 5-star rating, as the food—rice noodles, spicy chicken, and bang bang chicken—was quite tasty and generously portioned. However, the dishes were served lukewarm, and I unfortunately encountered a bone while eating.
The Singapore noodles are quite tasty; they're made with rice noodles and curry. I really enjoyed the Mussaman tofu, which features fried tofu pieces soaked in a deliciously rich, slightly salty sauce. However, I noticed that there was no curry in that dish. Most of the other dishes we ordered were fried as well. I would advise against ordering the pad thai a la carte, as mine was lacking key ingredients like lime, cilantro, and mung bean sprouts.
