Our family went to Trattoria Sorrento last night to celebrate a birthday. Service was excellent, food was delicious and prices were reasonable. For appetizers, we had the Fried Muzzarel, Calamari Fritti and Antipasto. All amazing. KIds loved the Fried Muzzarel. We ordered 3 different risottos as our family is obssessed with risotto. Had the Risotto Al Contandino, the Risotto Al Porcini and the Risotto Alla Scoglio. Also ordered the Veal Parmigiana and Penne Vodka.
Only giving this review 2 stars for the food. Service alone would be negative stars if I was able to. I'm not one to complain but this evening just compounded on itself. I picked this restaurant based off of the reviews. We had a reservation for 7 people for 6 pm. Our food didn't come out until 8:45. Completely unacceptable. The waitress eagerly took the drink and food order, but then that's when all customer service stopped from this waitress who had evidently been
Tipical family owned Italian restaurant. Very good pasta with a lot of flavor. Do not miss the home made Zuppa Inglese for dessert: excelent. Service a little bit slow but very very friendly. Highly recommended.
All the food was delicious. I ordered the special, the red snapper was really tasty. The spaghetti marinara was good but the penne vodka was my favorite. For the ones that don?t like pasta we got a chicken with mushrooms sauce, potatoes and veggies.
