However, when we arrived, we were abruptly told that we could not sit outside. We were all taken aback by the lack of professionalism and decided to leave for a friendlier dining option. It was clear they didn't want our business, and we’ve agreed that we will NEVER dine there again.
When we walked in, we were welcomed and given the choice to dine in or take out. We chose to dine in. We ordered two personal pizzas: he had the supreme and I had a different one (I’m sorry, I forgot the name). On the side, I ordered an adult mango slushie. Let me tell you, you could tell the pizzas were freshly made; they were absolutely delicious! As New Yorkers, we pride ourselves on knowing great pizza, but I have to say, this place might have outdone New York in that department. It was just that good! My adult slushie was also really tasty and made for a delightful treat. We had a nice chat with an elderly couple who had just moved from California and were enjoying their retirement. As a minority, I feel it’s important to mention that we were treated wonderfully here and experienced no discrimination at all! Honestly, this experience has changed my perspective on pizza. I can’t imagine wanting pizza from anywhere else now! I bet you a slice that you would enjoy it as much as we did. They have other entrees on the menu, and I hate to ramble, but I definitely plan to return for both pizza and an entree next time!
Food and service is always consistently great. We just moved out of the area and wish we could have taken Brunos with us!
My father's chicken marsala was served over gluten-free ravioli with capers, and he said it was decent, finishing most of it. As for the service, it was okay; the waitress seemed new, but she managed well. However, there were a few things I was not pleased with: my dish, the chicken marsala, lacked quality, there were no refills offered on drinks, some orders were incorrect yet correctly listed on the bill, and no one addressed those issues. We even had to ask for the warm bread that was supposed to accompany the meal. Additionally, my Italian wedding soup was quite underwhelming—a bowl with just two meatballs, some spinach, and broth, but no noodles or any other ingredients, served in a large square bowl. Overall, I left feeling disappointed with the meal. We spent $85.96 for food that didn't meet our expectations, and I ended up sending back most of it.
I called ahead to inquire about outdoor seating and was told that it was available that day. People had come from various places to enjoy the beautiful afternoon together. However, upon our arrival, we were rudely informed that we couldn't eat outside. We were all appalled by this unprofessional behavior and decided to leave in search of a more welcoming place to eat. It was clear they didn’t want our business, and we will definitely not be returning.
