We happened upon Lost Tavern brewing on the main street and then saw Randevoo and decided to go in for a bite and some beers. The place was clean and cool with a cozy decor. The staff of Randevoo were really friendly and helpful with menu choices. We tried the Korean fried chicken, the short rib skewers, and a sushi roll. Everything was freaking fantastic! If I had to pick a favorite it would be the chicken and husband would say short rib but the sushi was fire too. We would definitely return. PS the beers at Lost Tavern went perfectly with the food.
I've been excited to try Randevoo for a while since I heard great things about the food. We went last night to Lost Tavern, which shares the same space and since I don't drink I was excited for the food! My husband ordered the Korean Fried Chicken, my buddy the skewers and I got the Pork Belly Lo Mein. It took about 25 minutes for my husband's food to come out, but it got weirder when it then took another 15 for my buddies to come out. We thought it was strange the food was coming out so slow and so far apart but we were having a good time and were gonna wait for mine. We waited another 35 minutes and my food never came. I got a canned soda from them since again, I dont drink beer. The soda was flat. I don't know if the can had been shaken prior or was just old but that was really the cherry on top of the experience. Food never came and when my husband went up to the counter to ask about it, the food was never going to come so they did give us a refund. I tried some of my husband's KFC and it was fine, the chicken pieces were like mini nuggets and for 16$, the skewers are way overpriced for what you got but the flavor was nice. The ambiance was enjoyable, lots of tables and seating and the vibe is cool. Just would've really loved to actually eat something. Based on watching the staff for over an hour there was a lot of them, but almost no food coming out. One dish ever 10 minutes? Felt strange but maybe it was a bad night.
Randevoo is a restaurant located on Main Street in Bethlehem that specializes in sushi and other Asian-inspired dishes. The menu may not be extensive, but each dish is delicious! I have tried the Randevoo Tempura, BBQ Shrimp Skewer, Sliced Short Rib Skewer, and Korean Fried Chicken, and all of them were fantastic. My personal favorite is the Sliced Short Rib Skewer, which is marinated in garlic, ginger, sake, peanut sauce, green onions, and sesame seeds. I highly recommend it! Randevoo offers both indoor and outdoor seating, as well as curbside pickup and delivery options. The average ratings for their dishes range from 7.8 to 8.4, and the overall restaurant score is 81.
I visited this restaurant during Musikfest for a quick meal. It was very busy because of the festival, but our food came out fairly quickly. I ordered the vegan tempura sushi roll and vegan fried chicken buns, both of which were delicious. I would definitely order them again. My only suggestion is to add more vegan options to the menu so I can try even more dishes. Overall, yum!
I appreciate that the performance by the two Eva's made my and my granddaughters birthday dinner a pleasantly memorable one.
