The Hummus House - Bethlehem

I was pleased with all the dishes I sampled: the falafel cheese steak (I had a feeling it would be fantastic—now I want to try making it at home!), the ranch bacon chicken sandwich, and the cheese. I initially thought it would be a letdown that the sandwich didn’t come with a side, but the portions were quite large. It is on the pricier side, but once again, the serving sizes were generous.

My friend and I absolutely loved it! I wish we lived closer because we will definitely be coming back. Their vegan cheeses are incredible, and the vegan chicken bacon ranch is a standout! I was really impressed by everything.

Although the restaurant serves meat, it offers plenty of vegan and vegetarian options and specialties. There are traditional plant-based dishes as well as processed meat alternatives. With so many choices, I’ve visited numerous times and always enjoyed their hummus, especially at restaurants where vegan options are limited. The portion sizes are generous, the prices are reasonable, and the staff is very friendly. While it isn't the most elegant setting—dining is done at the counter with food brought to you—the service is quick. The newly added smoothie bar is a fantastic addition. It's just a short walk to the industrial museum and SteelStacks, making it convenient to leave your car in their parking lot since parking can be tricky and it’s handy to grab food at the counter before exploring.

I went there more often than they were in alltown (where I work), but I still make the special trip to bethlehem. a lot of their eating is vegan in standard, and they are very worth knowing what the dinge are vegan and what the dinge are not. my favorite is the falafel salat, but I highly recommend her vegan makkaroni and be good to anyone who is in order with gluten – it is some of the best mac and cheese round, and they have another type every week.
