Old Chicago Pizza Taproom - Bettendorf

I ordered the Classic individual-sized pizza on a thin crust, topped with pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, and garlic. It was just alright; I personally prefer my pizza to have more cheese. I also found it strange that it was cut into 9 very small pieces, which felt more like it was meant for a child. However, our waitress was friendly, and the restaurant was surprisingly not busy for a Saturday night dinner.

The food was excellent; I enjoyed the Tuscan chicken with spinach. The service could have been improved with more staff on hand.

I visited this restaurant for a personal pizza and ordered the ground beef and pepperoni. At first glance, it looked like your typical pizza, but once I took a bite, I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was. So good, in fact, that I couldn’t resist trying a slice of cheesecake from the menu, and it was equally delightful. Thank you for taking such care in your food and establishment. It truly was a delightful experience!

Rocky start as the hostess was MIA, but one of the servers picked up the ball and seated us after a few minutes. The Chcago 7 pizza was great though slightly shy of cheese for our tastes. The standout highlight was our server Jordan who did an absolute STELLAR job taking care of us while sporting a warm and uplifting smile throughout the restaurant. Best server we've had anywhere for a long, long time. 5 Stars to Jordan!

So incredibly disappointed with the service we received. I placed an online order that said my food would be ready in 25 minutes. I did not receive the food until 50 minutes after I placed my order. The restaurant was dead. There was one for top in the bar and three tables of four or less in the main dining area. no hostess, no bartender. The employees were all acting confused about who I was and what my order was. Then when I got home, I was missing two side orders of french fries. It’s too bad that the food is so good because the service is so poor that I won’t return.
