Drove up here on Saturday afternoon (21/09/19), all dark and sign at carpark entrance saying closed . Shame it looked like a nice character pub.
An absolute gem of a place! We come to Wales every year and we visit this place each time. Sad to hear Sally will be moving on but I hope it keeps its great homely feel and fabulous food. Easily the best vegetarian food I have had out and the meat dinners just look amazing! I was so tempted looking at my friends plates.
Food took a long time to arrive, mine was completely forgotten about. Try somewhere else.
This charming, traditional pub in Betws-y-Coed serves high-quality food. While the main menu is somewhat limited in options, there are plenty of specials listed on boards that provide additional choices. They offer a good selection of starters, mains, and desserts, and the wait time for your meal is surprisingly short! Despite its wonderful offerings, the pub tends to be quite quiet, which is a shame given how deserving it is of more attention. While the prices are a bit on the high side, the quality of the food makes it completely worth it. The establishment is clean and well-run; however, accessing the car park can be a bit challenging, particularly for motorbikes, due to the steep and uneven incline. If you find yourself in the area, this place is definitely worth a visit!
