Contribuisci feedbackBeautiful, old-fashioned place with tasty galettes and crepes, good steak and decent wine on the glass. service is a little slow, but it is just a lady for the entire restaurant with 15 tables quite impressive. smiling and thank you. it also helps for the service. the restaurant was full and with a waiting queue on a Wednesday evening.
The visit in this restaurant was planned as we were on the way both in rouen and on this one of our France-2019 trips (the cars and as many traveled roads as we could.) this was the day 28 and we were on the way to caen. for the portsmouth ferry and home. the weather was not great in the last 24 hours with rain and a blue wind. at the arrival we parked in the main square, which is only a large free parking space. the walk of 5 minutes to this restaurant was pleasant as the sun had set in one. we arrive a few minutes a day. Although we wanted to eat here, we had not made reservations so we were happy to get a table. the menu was very extensive, many possibilities, but we had put our hearts on galettes, what we both ordered. so, two steak haché galette with the haché steak burger patty, cooked medium on a buck-wheat pancake with some emmental cheese, mushrooms and a egg that was cracked in the middle of the galette, the galette was then closed and boiled, so boil the egg that looked like a roasted egg. the galette was good (the burger was medium cooked and was extremely delicate and tasty) and we both ate it all. it was also quite filled out so that we did not order dessert, that was just as we had to quickly get on the way to the ferry port, because the time ran out. the personal was all kind, but not much English, fair enough. our last meal on this france 2019 trip had been eaten.
Ugliest dark cheap decor managed by the most involuntary dame. platz was freezing. fire place ready with wood, but not used (creperie du feu de bois, sweat half the heat sink closed, while customers freeze, aso. we wanted to complain. but in no case. it is. just a dark prison house coffee. cripples were not even delicious. they make a big move.
We visited this small restaurant for dinner during a holiday in beuzeville. a very pleasant, family-run restaurant with excellent food. the menu gave each quantity selection with local specialities and good, no frills french land cooking. the wine list was good, but we noticed that the locals usually drink apples, again a local speciality. would recommend to book a table in advance as it was busy with many locals there, always a good sign.
The starters were enormous bigger than many main courses. Recommend the goats cheese. Good vapid mains not just the excellent crepes but also steaks, moules etc. Plenty of locals eating there which is always a good sign
