If you enjoy authentic Chinese cuisine, I highly recommend the 'Rising Sun Restaurant' in Beverly Hills. I particularly enjoy their shark fin soup, hot and sour soup, and Peking duck. The atmosphere is perfect for a family dinner.
I have found that the Chinese food along this street is fairly average and meets the standards of Chinatown. However, the prices are also in line with those in the city, except for Rising Sun. Rising Sun offers high-quality food at a very reasonable price compared to its competitors across the street. For example, while other restaurants may charge around $20 for a simple chicken chow mein, Rising Sun only charges $12 and the taste is comparable.
Went here for the Birthday with the wife Highly Under rated. Had a great dinner.
Nice place for tasty Chinese seafood and dishes. Visited a number of times and I enjoy the high quality of food and think its good value for the price compared to other restaurants in the area. The food is cooked well and is tasty. There is a wide range of dishes to offer on the menu.
