Generally, I think American little breweries hit me over the head with their ipas, but beverly has one of a local channel marker brewery that makes a superlative, and anchor wears it. If I ever come back that way, I come back to anchor again. I'll never forget it.
Stoped by this little costal gem, tried out the stuffed clams $3, crab cakes 2 for $6, twin lobster plate $29.95, lobster roll $22.95, burger and lemon salmon. Reasonable prices, large portions in full plates, seafood prices due change as they are market price. There was a dinning area both indoors and out it’s family friendly, also had a pub area. Beautiful views and great atmosphere please take time to visit! Happy travels -A
*Live review* (Will update if necessary) Totally GoogleMap 'd Lobster Rolls Near Me . A lot of the places are seasonal. So, I 'm glad I found this one after two tries. Pretty busy for a Sunday afternoon. Only me. Walked through the bar area and all the seats were taken. Staff is pretty friendly for how busy they are. ORDER: Lobster roll (warm with drawn butter and French fries on the side). Waiting around beer: A local brew by Channel Marker; their Where There 's A Whale There 's A Way Double IPA, 8%. PETER welcomed me to sit at an empty table and was friendly and attentive. Would come by again!
My new favorite local seafood pub. Just go when you have a lot of time to spare. Food didn't come out fast, but then again I came to have a good sit down meal with friends and they delivered just that. We had a round of drinks, steamers, clam chowders, steak medium rare and they weren't afraid to make it ****! Excellent , scallops. All delicious! Definitely coming back to try more of the menu. We went on a Sunday and it was packed. Call ahead and reserve a table if you can. But it's not so bad sitting around with a drink waiting for your table. There are a couple of pool tables inside to kill some time as well. The seafood pie, if it's on the special menu sold out. That's one of like to try
I've been a few times now, as I want to give it a fair chance. It's just not a great place. To start, on all three visits, a server forgot something: water, a drink order, silverware, something. On all three visits it took a very long time to get food. My entire dinner were lukewarm. I didn't say anything because two servers were next to me talking about how busy they are. To sit outside, you just have to know to walk up and wait until a table is available. No one acknowledges your presence or says a word. In fact, they'll look right at you and ignore you. No host. At least put a sign up. Lastly, the prices just don't justify the food. It's not a terrible expensive place, but, as an example, here is the salad that comes with a three dollar upcharge. All in all not a pleasant experience. It's more of a local watering hole for folks who know each other, which is cool.
