Aguas Calientes Taqueria - Bexar County

This isn’t the same as the place it used to be before it became el guacamole : they put a stupid amount of cheese into my chicken tortilla soup and then they forgot my tortilla. The tortilla soup is also extremely salty but it has a large amount of chicken in it. If you like a really, really salty chicken tortilla soup, then this would be great for you.

This restaurant is under new ownership and new name. The previous tacqueria was our favorite for breakfast and a tradition when my kids came home from college. We were happy to note the food is still the same. As an added bonus they have some very good hot sauces and will now be open for dinner so that's great to hear. Will come back!

We've been in Texas for two months and this is the best Mexican food we've discovered. I got the Chiloquites Mexican plate and my wife got the rib-eye. Both were fabulous. The guacamole is delicious. Thank you!

If the top of 410 is the equator, then these breakfast tacos are the best breakfast tacos that you can get north of the equator! Hand down the best implementation of SA style tex-mex breakfast tacos! It's not too bad on the pocketbook either!

This taco spot is open late, great for last minute Netflix movie snacks. We are far away from everything so it's nice to have a place open late that is nearby with great food.
