Arrived just before brunch ended. Food was fresh, warm, and attractively presented. My elderly mother and I never felt rushed or ignored as can happen in some places before closing. We’ll definitely be back.
But right now I’m really huffed. It’s not bad enough I have groceries in my cart. Their elevator is closed for routine maintenance, while they are still open in a two story store. So I had to leave my cart go up the stairs. Then go back down the stairs. Put my arm load of groceries in the cart with the groceries I had left. The service desk employee who was leaving thought this was humorous. She made a comment. Had I not needed food for Precious I would have left all of the groceries. Then the kid at the checkout bags my bread items under the dog food and my frozen containers of vegetarian foods. I now have smashed buns. I rebagged my groceries in front of the kid while he just stood there and watched. I expect this at Kroger sadly, but not the Bexely Market District Giant Eagle. Rant over Namaste
Date night for the husband and I .. food was served cold .. but once we got it home and reheated it was good .. haven't been back since however
Didn’t appreciate the cashier ringing me up today while loudly discussing with another employee how she thought “the coronavirus is a hoax.” People including me have lost family and friends to this very real public threat.
