Premier BarBQ - Bexley

That was a big disappointment. The ambience feels like a Mexican all-inclusive, chess playground. The light is too bright and there is a huge, mural TV screen that had a fake fireplace scene. There were only 1 server for the entire restaurant and she was short with customers and would scream to the kitchen staff what made it very unpleasant for people. Water was not refilled. 2. Drinks were not offered. The food was best subpar. The temperature was down. My salmon was Blande and the vegetable Medley underneath was cold refrigerator and did not match the menu descriptions. Lambskin came out in burned lambs. Grilled octopus didn't seem fresh at all and I was really afraid to eat it. Not sure if this is a family business, but an older couple in an adidas track suit/stretch pants served dishes and around the room. The cook offered to heat my dinner, but it wasn't even worth the effort. For a first-class location in Bexley, our expectations were too high, I guess. And we learned that there was a reason why they had reservations on Valentine's Day weekend the same day while nobody else did.

The food was delicious, but it was a very strange experience. I think the majority of employees must be related and it's hard to describe the atmosphere, but it felt a little bit as if we were eating in the middle of their living room on a fantasy table. I wouldn't have been shocked if the chef decided to make a quick break by playing on the table next to us candy breaks at full volume on his phone while our server politely said it would be just a few minutes more.

Great overall experience! Food was delicious; service was incredible! We tried the burrata salad and grilled octopus—both had great flavor profiles. I had the New York strip and the hubs had the ribeye. Loved the presentation of each and both were tasty!

The selections, quality of food and service were excellent. I felt that the portion was on the small side but commensurate with the price. I would be willing to pay more for a larger portion. The banquet room upstairs is wonderful.

We went to Bexley Premier for our anniversary . This was our first time there. Food and service were excellent. We will definitely be back.
