Saw this restaurant on our walk around Beynac et Cazenac and checked when they were open “every night and kitchen closes after 9pm”. Tried TWICE to eat here, both times before 8.30pm, and turned away on both occasions. Once as owner had some problems at home, not sure what the point in having staff is, and the second time as “fully booked”, yet only around a quarter of seats occupied and no ‘reserved’ signs on any tables we saw.
But let's say it's catered to tourists... Portions are very small. Salads have a lot of... salad. Not much more. My 5 Euro glass of wine was... well... tiny. Glad I asked for fries with my salad or I'd have left hungry. Or more hungry...
Lunch with the family and everything was very well at the level of the meal and the service are ironed eating succulent pancakes after the visit of the castle of excellent homemade chocolate pancakes
Great restaurant, good products and good prices, I recommend after the visit of Beynac Castle, because it is right at the foot of this castle.
