There was hardly any meat in the dish; it felt like I was eating moose knuckles. The plantains were dry and burnt as well.
Everything was dry. I only managed a few bites, and even my partner didn't want to finish the meal. It was disappointing to see the entire order go to waste. The oxtails were tougher than expected, the Jollof rice was dry, and even the cabbage was uncooked. They also forgot the black-eyed peas, and the fufu was undercooked. The beignets were burnt and inedible. Overall, it was not a good experience at all.
Dont eat here. Ive tried it twice now and its been a let down both times. First time it was all cold. Second time they substituted my meal for something $4 more expensive that I didnt even eat. The meat was all hard and bones. The broth was all oil. The chicken is okay with the jollof rice and plantains but not worth the let down. Go somewhere else, trust me.
Too expensive for what it is. Flavors are great, but with order came with 5 smalls shrimps each. Thats it.
