Whether you prefer classic plain, indulgent everything, or unique specialty options, this place has got you covered. The staff is friendly and the service is quick…Trust me, you won't be disappointed! ?
I’ve been to Luke’s many times. Bagels are great but not nearly worth the lengthy lines, mess us orders, slow ordering process, waiting in the heat, and items always sold out. I first stopped at the truck which only had rainbow bagels left which was fine, got up in line which they have the full menu there. They don’t serve pork roll there, out of American cheese, out of napkins, VERY slow. I got my bagels then went to their main shop. Line was long as expected, waited over 30 minutes to order. They were out of all bagels except poppy and rainbow. Ordered pork roll egg and cheese on a poppy bagel. I proceeded to wait 45 more minutes for my bagel. FINALLY. Get in the car and open it and it’s bacon egg and cheese on a rainbow bagel. The ticket on the bag was accurate but they put the wrong sandwich in the bag. I brought it back to be remade she said 15 minutes. Finally got it 15 minutes later and it’s accurate. It was such an insane process I will never go back. Quality product but very very poor quality service.
It’s tough to rate this place 5 stars with the price and wait. I got a breakfast sandwich, bagel w/ cream cheese, and a black coffee and the price of $30 has deterred me from going back. It was an hour and a half between arriving and eating which is understandable based on the time I arrived. All being said, it’s the best bagel and bagel sandwich I have ever had but still doesn’t justify the price.
Waited 10 minutes in the heat for our order we called in. Bagels were not toasted and soggy. The worker told us she would remake it since we paid $35 for two toasted lox bagels and didn’t get what we asked for. Waited another 10 minutes before the owner came out and told us he wouldn’t remake it because people have different levels of toasted??? We showed him the untoasted bagel and squished it to show how soggy it was. He told us cream cheese and lox makes the bagel soggy and refused to remake the order. We have been loyal customers for 4 years and never had a negative experience but this was ridiculous and disappointing.
I’m from NY, these bagels are decently close to a bagel from my hometown. Bit of a wait to order and receive but worth it !
