I recently visited this restaurant and it was not great at all. The biryani was disappointing and I feel like I could make a better version at home. I wanted to rate it lower than 1, but 1 is the lowest option available. I suggest skipping this place altogether and not even considering a visit.
I have always been a biryani fan and the Bhatkal biyani has always been rated the best among all the varieties I have ever tasted. However, the birayni at quality is only made on Wednesday and Sunday at 7.00pm only and I believe it gets sold out within an hour. Now this I did not know. I was halted their while travelling thinking of experiencing the biryani once again, having tasted the last time over 16 years ago. To my bad luck, I was provided the details as mentioned earlier, so I settled for the normal biryani which they said was good too. It was just horrible. I quietly finished the meal as I was tired and famished, but did not encourage me to make a visit there again. May be the other dishes are better, and the additional reviews may help foodies decide whether to stop there or no.
This is a typical bhatkali non vegetarian restaurant. Being a vegetarian, my food ordered was an average. Poor ambiance rather no ambiance. Crowded in very poor service. This restaurant is an emergency lunch box.
They have a neat n clean lodging, rooms big enough to accomodate 3 people comfortably. People are very courteous and very helpful. The restaurant would not be a very great place to dine. If I were there with family, I would skip the dining part here.
