The best ever authentic odia food you can get in bhubaneswar....<br/ The large variety of delicious odia cuisines....<br/ Super ambiance <br/ Taste-10/10<br/ Ambiance-10/10<br/ Presentation-10/10<br/ <br/ One can completely enjoy the food with some old odia music...
Being from Odisha, it gets extremely difficult to enjoy the local cuisine even within the state which is astonishing. Odiya cuisine unlike bengali cuisine isnt quite as popular even within the state, mostly due to the fault of its restaurants not marketing it properly and rampantly adopting other cuisines such as mughlai and south indian.<br/ <br/ Odisha hotel, in Chandrashekpur has good ambience and has good hygiene albeit being small. Copper utensils used evoke the traditional odiya household feel which is very nostalgic. Service is very good as well.<br/ <br/ I have been there atleast a hundred times now and its great every time.<br/ 1. Mutton Kassa (succulent pieces of mutton in a semi thick gravy)<br/ <br/ 2. Prawns fry (cooked with mild spices in a traditional way)<br/ <br/ 3. Crab curry (awesome if you like crab)<br/ 4. Mix veg (contains multiple local veg dishes such as saag and aloo bhaja)<br/ <br/ 5. Dahi baingan (fried brinjal in dahi, really good), <br/ <br/ 6. Ghanta tarkari (mix veg curry specific to Odisha, might be an acquired taste)<br/ <br/ 7. Kheer (Similiar to a rice pudding)<br/ <br/ 8. Chena poda (Indian cheesecake)<br/ <br/ The prices are slightly on the higher side considering bhubaneswar. It would cost two people roughly around 800-1000rs. But the food is definitely worth it.
