Not many people know about this restaurant as its out of the city centre and on the train station platform. There are very few restaurants that serve vegetarian food, let alone vegetarian only so it's a bold move but one that is working out well. The food is all home-made on-site and the simple menu changes weekly and includes everything from 3 course meals to pasties and wraps. If you are there out of the lunch window there are sandwiches, wraps and salads available at all times. Coffee is excellent and only vegetable-based milk is available. Part of the cafe also features items sold by local artists including art, clothing and bags. There is a small area dedicated for amusing children including puzzles and spelling games.
Coffee and service were excellent. Power outlets were a bit scarce. A power strip is provided next to the big table.

Very unpleasant man at the front, and also lacking hygiene. The man used his bare hands to add ice to my water without washing them first. We ordered apple juice and carrot cake in addition to the water. The juice was fine, not made in-house so can't give them any credit for it. And my husband found the carrot not sweet enough and too cinnamon-y, though the icing was quite good. Were it not for the man I'd happily go back to try other things because the place has a cool vibe. But with him there the atmosphere is soured and I'd rather stay away. Gave an extra star because it's vegetarian and they have a vegan cake.
