Ventilo Caffe - Biarritz

Fabulous duck confit that tasted like my French mother’s cooking. Perfect jus. It had that je ne sais quoi!!! The place was lively and the staff attentive. And the potatoes were excellently prepared. I have had it twice in town….this was my favorite.

Really cool and relaxed cafe that served a very good vegetarian burger. Not sure if it is the only vegetarian dish, but we were very happy with it. The tables outside let you bask in the sun and enjoy a relaxed meal. No rush cafe. Thank you

Went there ones with my boyfriend. I ordered a hamburger which was nice, my boyfriend ordered fish-chips which wasn’t as good. It was just one quite small fish so my boyfriend was still hungry after he finished. The staff was really nice to us and helpful and they spoke English well. It’s not a fancy restaurant, it’s more of a bar/restaurant a bit laidback with quite artistic and masculine interior (motorcycles, sport-tv, funky furniture . They had other dishes as well but limited, but give it a try, the burger was good! :

After being let down at another restaurant we needed to feed our children as it was getting late and chose this restaurant as it was near our hotel. The waitress was really friendly and helpful. The menu was basic but just what we were looking for and the food served was excellent. The drinks and dinners were delivered in a timely manner and always with a smile. This place had a great atmosphere and the laid back and well mannered staff made it a relaxing evening. Excellent service.

A bustling place on a buzzing street serving decent meals and snacks with good wine, beer and cocktails selections. Goat cheese bruschetta and chipirons a la plancha both very good. Very friendly service. About 50 euros for two with a couple of drinks, no dessert.
