Highly recommend you order then go out onto the deck to spot the seal colony on the nearby rocks while you enjoy a local beer. At night the place comes alive with local bands, music and fire to keep you warm. Located 2mins away from the high street, follow signs to the Gulch the minor detour is well worth it!!
4/5 We had a 5 people dinner over here. Everything was great, we had a garlic lobster, salmon, seafood chowders, scallops. Everything was really good, chips were great, just salmon was the worst I ever had in my life. In Menu it said grilled, but it was fried on the pan. It was overcooked and weird color red, rather than normal orange/pink. But apart of that, definitely a great spot, just next time would have something else instead of salmon. Thanks
The Lobster Shack was a great place to stop in for a bite to eat. We ordered ahead of time for takeaway but once we arrived the view was better than expected, so we decided to eat outside in the large seating area. The lobster was delicious. Highly recommended.
Initially wasn't going to review but didn't want to be shellfish for keeping this place to myself. Ordered lobster rolls after recommendations. They are served in milk buns so they look like burgers. Lobster tasted fresh and damn I wish there was more of it. For what you pay I think it was reasonably priced. Added fries to our order and found them too crunchy. Friendly service and clean dining area and kitchen. Make sure you clean up after yourself or the seagulls will make a mess of the place!
When lobster meets shack... It's a winning combination. Great fresh seafood and plenty of outdoor seating it can get a bit breezy so there's also seating indoors. Didn't take long to prepare and it was delicious. What more do you need?
