The Bone Yard Grill - Big Bear Lake

We were on vacation in big bear and went to the restaurant. Google says it closes at 9. Went at 7:45 pm and the open sign was on. An employee told us as we walked in they were closed. I asked them and they said they closed early with no reason (after waiting). Update: 2nd night in a row they closed early because it wasnt busy . I would suggest the business open later and stay open for night life because they are missing out on a big customer base and bad publicity to close before the hours stated.

My family arrived a little after 4pm so the place wasn't crowded. Food was great. Great service provided by Amanda and Nathan. Thank you both. I would recommend this place.

Food was terrible. Service was terrible. We ended up leaving (after paying $130) a couple bites into our meal and going to Saucy Mama’s to eat.

Service was awful, waited 30+ to meet our waitress, then another 20 just to get waters. Waitress never came back around to refill drinks. The place was not busy, many empty tables. When food arrived it looked and tasted like cafateria/hospital food. We never complained , 10 people in my group, only two of us could eat the food( wings). Waited longer to get the bill, tip was added, paid, when receipt came back was a different total than when I gave my card, asked for it to be looked at it, manager said he could not fix it right then but her will get us new receipts and fix it another time. The new record amount was adding more too amount, now I was charged 3 different amounts for a tip. Asked manager to get me a receipt that showed break down of my food and price he said the system won’t let him do that. I asked him to re total it and fix my bill, he rolled his eyes then said it is what it is. Not ok, then proceeded to tell us to leave the restaurant. Said “get the hell out”.

I’ve never given a bad review But this place deserves a 0 star. Double check your receipt Beware they charge double gratuity This place is so disorganized. Manager is not even a manger. So rude!!!!! The service was super slow, our server had our drinks sitting on another table for 6 mins. The food was bad. Our party of 10 was not satisfied with the taste of food. No one even finished the food on there plates Server never came and ask how our food tasted. We never got refills. We had to ask random servers to get us refills. Would not recommend this place to anyone.
