But honestly, it’s not necessary because the staff is very friendly and welcoming. You can dress up or keep it casual, though the clientele does seem to lean towards wealthy cattle owners. However, it also draws in down-to-earth locals. The menu is extensive, offering something for everyone. The service is quick and professional. The bartenders are true western gentlemen, dressed in neatly pressed black shirts. We tried the huckleberry big sky bramble cocktail with bourbon, and they also have a fantastic selection of beers on tap. We sampled the vegetable soup and elk meatballs, both of which were flawlessly executed. The bar itself is crafted from high-quality solid wood. This restaurant at Lone Star Ranch embodies everything great about America, representing freedom and excellence. Stepping inside makes me proud to be American—I absolutely love it. Great job, LM!
This is a fantastic spot to grab a drink while heading to Big Sky! The service is excellent, and the drinks are amazing!
My wife and I have visited several times for couples getaways, and we also bring family and friends when they come to town. We’ve never been disappointed. This time, after exploring the Big Sky area with my sister and her husband, we enjoyed drinks and dessert. The espresso martini is the best I've ever had, and the cobbler was exceptional. The staff was very helpful and incredibly friendly. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience.
This restaurant is a must-visit for anyone in the area. The dining experience is exceptional, offering a level of sophistication that’s a bit fancier than the rustic style we're accustomed to at ranches. However, the food was outstanding, and the service was impeccable. Joel was our server, and he was fantastic. While it was on the pricey side for what we received, I still believe it was worth it. Service: Dine-in.
I had one of the BEST dining experiences ever! It was my birthday, and Joel and the team truly made it unforgettable. This will definitely be our go-to spot for special occasion dinners. Service: Dine-in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–100.
