Ресторан Kioto - Bila Tserkva

Sushi has made its way to Ukraine, but unfortunately, most of it is not very good. However, in Bila Tserkva, Kioto Sushi restaurant seems to be the closest thing to California sushi restaurants that you will find (forget about comparing it to Japan). I have visited all the other sushi spots in the city, at least twice, and Kioto is definitely my top choice. While it may not be perfect, it is still better than most places in Kyiv. I have been there at least 40 times in the last few years and will be going there again for lunch this week.

I ordered the chicken marinade listed in the menu, but what was brought to me looked very different from the photo. This was unexpected and a little disappointing. The service was slow, probably because this restaurant is not very popular. The prices were similar to other places in Kyiv, which was also surprising. The fresh fruits were a nice touch, but they didn't have beet, which is a popular vegetable in Ukraine. Instead, they offered a fresh lemon drink, which was a bit too intense for my taste. Overall, the presentation was good and the service was decent. The flavors were wonderful, but there were some small details that could be improved by the management.

I was very disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. They do not accept credit cards and the portion size of the meal was not accurate. I could understand if it was a steak, but I ordered wheat noodles which should be a standard portion. I will not be returning to this place.
