Pena Athletic Del Casco Viejo - Bilbao

Excellent atmosphere friendly staff nice beer plenty of tables outside and inside great posters and memorabilia inside

This is the Athletic Bilbao Peña located in Casco Viejo (old town Bilbao). If you're a football fan, it's a must see. Decorated with lots of pictures and merchandise from Athletic. The surprise for me was that the food there was actually very good! The prices were very affordable and the food was very good. The staff was also very nice. Recommend it!

The restaurant is at the plaza casco viejo with lots of other small restaurants situated side by side along the different avenues of the plaza. It's actually supposed to Carter for the Athletic Football Club Bilbao but when there spare tables, admit non-members. They have a super blond waitress called Anna or Maria.

RECOMENDADO Comida excepcional y buena relación calidad-precio. No es posible almorzar en día festivo sin hacer reserva.

La atención y la cocina de primera, pero el ambiente va empeorando con los años, una pena. Parece ser el refugio de la peor versión de los bilbaínos. Por suerte puedo presumir de haber conocido tiempos mejores
