The menu is very French and our meals were simple, but well executed. Steaks, foie, baked Camembert, confit and even a specially prepared non menu entre request fulfilled. The interior is pleasant and simply furnished, wines were super. Steps to the loo were tricky, but this is typical of the LOT and Dordogne, that's why the architecture is so engaging.
France was magnificent. The towns and the scenery superb. Most of the people were kind. But we got sick to death of eating substandard meals in lousy establishments, uncaring staff, surrounded by flies. The waitress looked like she preferred we weren't there, the food was average, the experience grim. Why are there more flies inside the restaurants than outside? Taken for granted.
Great town one of the beautiful villages. Got the recommendation from a guide book. Normally give those places a miss. But this was good simple food well done and in a nice relaxed atmosphere. I had the confit, well I guess you must at some point in the Dordogne. Very good,
The surrounding is magnificent. The owners, Patrick and Christine, are very friendly people who have an eye for quality and style. The food was simple but delicious. This was a typical french meal in a typical french setting. For me an A+.It's worth it, to travel all the way from the Netherlands.
We have eaten here frequently during the last few years in May and June. The food has always been fresh, tasty and well-presented. Idyllic spot. Very friendly owners and staff.
