Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

I ordered a light breakfast, specifically eggs over easy, but they arrived undercooked and runny. When I mentioned the issue to the waiter, he told me that's how they cook them in the South. It was quite disappointing. I ended up paying full price for something I couldn't eat unless I wanted to use a straw, and on top of that, the eggs were cold.

The staff was extremely friendly. The gift shop is always enjoyable and affordable. The food delivery was very quick. The fresh cheese pancakes were delicious. The country fried steak was decent, but some portions were definitely smaller than what I've had in the past. The fries had a nice seasoning and were well-cooked. My kids loved the chicken fingers, and they are quite particular about their chicken strips. The watermelon lemonade was packed with flavor, reminiscent of a Jolly Rancher. The generic chocolate milk was just that—good, but generic. Overall, the prices were reasonable for the food delivered.

Now, let's talk about dinner. The prices were reasonable and the food had a comforting, home-cooked quality, rather than being overly fancy like at some other places. I do wish there were a few more fries, even though they were delicious. If the food alone isn’t enough to entice you to visit, their gift shop certainly is. It’s filled with a variety of items, from children's toys to clothing, and I ended up spending a little more than I planned on gifts for others. Overall, if you're in the mood for a delicious, home-style Western meal, this is definitely the place to go!

So I've never been in my 21-year-old life until this year in a cracker fass, and I just have to say what's a nice first impression! the general business is like a small wonderland with toys, snacks, candles, among many other goods. the actual dining area is super spacious and comfortable. the waitress who helped us was so friendly and really helped to make the atmosphere what it was- wished I could scream them out. Food was perfectly boiled- delicious as well as the drink I got.

We visited this restaurant for the first time and had a mixed experience. The gift shop next door is charming and filled with unique items, although it’s on the pricier side. We enjoyed browsing there before dining. The food itself was excellent and portion sizes were generous, but it was also quite costly. Unfortunately, the service left much to be desired. Our waiter appeared quite unhappy to be serving us. He frequently forgot our requests, and even when we reminded him, he would sometimes forget again. This happened repeatedly, which was quite frustrating. As a result, we chose not to leave him a tip.
