They were playing some type of pop music that seemed out of place in a restaurant that looks and shows as nicely as that one.
Had a reservation at 630 was seated right away. Water and bread guy was really nice. Downhill from there. The restaurant was not busy maybe Three tables total of two or three people. We ordered and didn't see the wait staff for an hour.bfood came at One hour and thirty minutes. Steaks that were asked for medium were burnt. First and last visit.
This was our first visit and it was an amazing experience! The food and drinks were excellent and the staff were very welcoming!
Very expensive for the overall food to not be that good. Steak was seared too long, so every bite had a burnt taste. The meatballs were overcooked and so hard that we didn't finish them. I think that might have been the first time that i didn't finish meatballs as an appetizer. The asparagus was even burnt, and the chicken was mainly breading with hardly any actual chicken. I will say that we did like the bruschetta, bread w/ olive oil, mac n' cheese, and wine. We arrived at 5pm (when they opened with a reservation), and it still took around 45 minutes just to get our appetizer. They also don't even have a cocktail menu. I don't know how their breakfast is, and I don't know if I want to even try it now. We still had to check it out since it has the best view of Billings from the 20th floor. Overall, this place has a pretty good view, so maybe just stock with some wine and bread. I will say that Harley was really nice when I made the reservation!
Beautiful restaurant. Misleading menu items, and questionable service. I ordered the Golden Beet Salad, I use to be a waitress in my college town, and I lightened up when I saw this was a menu option. Unfortunately, the Golden Beet Salad had no “golden beets” as described in the menu. Along with the beet, I ordered shrimp which comes with only 4 very lightly seasoned shrimp. I did consume 1 and 1/2 of the seafood. I brought the concern to the waiter’s, Johan, attention. Johan removed the unfinished plate, I then asked for a Mushroom Brunchetta to go, and to be checked out. Nothing was changed to my final check. The meal that my waiter removed from the table was still applied. Because of my previous waitress experience, I hate having to fight a waiter for what is right, but also very much an uncomfortable experience as a solo traveler.
