Umi Japanese Steakhouse Sushi

Always an issue when I order online. Missing items or even my order getting canceled by store after waiting 30 minutes on more than one occasion. It’s very frustrating. What’s the point of having all these delivery services if none of them ever go through? There should be no reason for my order to get canceled every time when you are clearly open and have your restaurant on multiple apps. If you are unable to take orders, make your restaurant unavailable on said apps rather than waiting 30 minutes after someone orders to cancel and then having to wait three business days for a refund. Ridiculous.

I ordered a bunch of sushi not knowing that a couple days ago that they were looking for a new chef made were closing down for a month. I got very sick and now they are not answering their phone. A refund would have been nice because I don't like posting negative reviews it this seems like my only option here.

We had a standing reservation for my daughter’s birthday and Father’s Day and walked to the door and they were all of a sudden closed. They never let me know. So embarrassing and awful of them. They aren’t answering their phone. This is ridiculous and I am not happy!

Another Restaurant falls victim to shrinkflation. The service was quite satisfactory. Half the food we tried to order, the waitress said they were out of. Literally half. My nigiri sushi came with paper thin slices of fish on them. The only food item that came appropriately portioned for price was the fried rice. The Dining Room has half empty of tables and chairs. One table was set up for rolling silverware. UMI used to have great food and a fancy atmosphere at a somewhat higher price point. Now all they have is the higher price point.

The wait staff was awesome. The food was great. The hostess seemed like it was a chore for her to do her job and was very rude.
