Jim's Highway 82 Barbecue - Billingsley

Took a drive out to try this place out after reading the great reviews about how good theBBQ was. Ordered the pulled pork plate with fries and slaw with a side order of stew. I've eaten BBQ pretty much all over the U.S. this was by far the worst pulled pork I had ever had. It was so dry you couldn't put enough sauce on it to make it enjoyable. On to the stew. I'm not really sure what is was. I ate two bites of it and threw it away... still not sure what it was. My wife couldn't even finish her meal. She did say the potato salad was good.

Great place to eat! On our way home from vacation and it did not disappoint!! Great service! I got cheeseburger and husband got pulled pork plate! So good!!

I was skeptical, but now I say whoever Mr. Jim is......I'd like his autograph! Amazing!!!

The food is always good! Jim's is always busy so prepare to have a little bit of wait time.

Legendary spot on Hwy 82 headed to and from Tuscaloosa., Classic BBQ , Old School Alabama feel inside, the best sweet tea I've had in awhile! Perfect spot on the way to Tuscaloosa!
