Beautiful decor. Great booths facing the Windows and view. Very romantic for a date night. The food was amazing! I had the 16oz Ribeye bone-in with melted blue cheese and Bri whipped mash potatoes on the said My beautiful GF had the crab stuffed flounder and asparagus We shared the most amazing strawberry cheesecake and CQ salad that came with these candied walnuts that you could die for. Our server, Britney, was amazing! Suggested just the right wine for our meals. Very polite and knowledgeable. Made the experience even better. I would of given this place 5 stars if not for the hostess that just seemed dead inside and wouldn't even smile all night long! She was just Very off putting. Also... for a bus boy that told my girlfriend the stuff flounder was a huge dish and to much for one person to eat Haha. why would you say that to my girlfriend who just finished her dish?! Not sure what you really meant by saying that buddy haha. Other than that... Def recommend this place. Ask for a booth!!
The service was great. Sally was very nice, hospitable and competent. The ambience was also great, it's a beautiful space. The food, as previously stated in reviews, was mediocre. Boyfriend ordered the prime rib which was just a tad over cooked and tough. I had the tuna which had good taste paired with a good sauce however didn't burst with flavor. The menu on Yelp is up to date but it is not on Open Table as of 1/15/17. We were told the manager was communicating with Open Table to fix the issue. As said, service was great, the quality of food just didn't warrant the price.
Food was decent but definitely nothing special. Thus, with their prices and mediocre food, we would likely not return since there's better in town. The ambiance, however, is beautiful; both the restaurant and adjacent bar (Blu) have floor to ceiling windows overlooking the gulf coast and the decor is classy/chic. Although we had reservations, we still had to wait 30 min, but the restaurant paid for our drinks since they had us wait for our table that was a bonus point for them.
Very nice dinner tonight and the service by Andrea was extraordinary. Well cooked med rare fillet mignon for the husband and I had a Cajun crepe sauce farfalle pasta dish with yummy soft shell crab. Server Andrea helped us choose the perfect wine as well.
I'm definitely a fan of CQ. The host was a bit off which made me concerned. The servers came out with a pulled pork on a chip to start the evening. The food was amazing. Of course I had the steak--perfect. The wine selection was okay. They did have CA Napa wines in stock. The food service took a bit but was told it was delayed so the kids could eat first. I was fine with that but other folks on the table started to get hungry. The food came, it was great and a good time was had by all. I'll definitely be back! Come around sunset. The seating arrangement allows for great sunset viewing no matter what table you're at. It's a casual place but the decor says business casual. There is a bar area right next door for folks who want to drink while waiting for a table.
