Popping flavours on a base of tomato and pumpkin- chargrilled capsicum zucchini and a peppered goats cheese to die for. My other half chose the Korean fried chicken. Yummo. Luckily he let me share a taste of the very generous amount of tantalising nicely spiced chicken on a delightful bed of kimchi and soba noodles. I did let him have a taste of my delicious blue eye (fish of the day) and the ‘fish cake’ as called by the other half. How wrong. Wonderful lemon and tarragon rice timbale. Who cares what it’s called. Wonderful meal with a lovely bottle of Bay of Fires Pinot Gris. Thank you for a wonderful meal. Certainly recommend the restaurant brimming with delightful food and staff.
Had lunch there today sitting outside because we had our three dogs with us after a walk on the beach. Special occasion so we tried a bottle of Lichen sparkling which was good. We had their beer battered fish (blue eye) and chips and their crispy skin ocean trout. Both were fantastic. The best fish I have had for years. Highly recommend a visit.
Went for an early dinner. We couldn't decide between the seafood chowder or a couple of the pizzas so we had both. The chowder was delicious. The pizzas were great. Good wine list. Great friendly service. Reasonable prices. Great location. It may be the only restaurant in Binnalong Bay but it's not using that as an excuse to rest on its laurels. Highly recommend
