Contribuisci feedbackWe went to Turtle Jack's last Saturday with a group of 18 people. My brother-in-law had called ahead to reserve a section for us, so we were not a surprise. However, the service was incredibly slow. We waited over an hour for our first drinks, most of which were empty by the time our lunch order was finally taken. When the food arrived, it took a long time and was very disappointing. The Caesar salad was dry, and my mother's turkey sandwich was served without aioli sauce. My brother-in-law's fish was extremely overcooked. Overall, the experience was awful. I would not recommend going to any Turtle Jack's again.
Having avoided this restaurant for years following bad food we stopped in last week for a great surprise. No long the tacky cottage decor but now a classy upscale cottage vibe. Our server was spectacular, great suggestions for drinks and food. I had an Asian rib platter, it was ok, definitely room for improvement it but it was so much better than their old menu where everything came out of the fryer. I’ll come back and try again with a different menu choice, there are a few interesting items. We both found the beers and cocktails expensive compared to ever other restaurant in this category of dining. A $10 draft beer is pushing it.
Never been to this place before, but it is amazing the food is perfect the service is fantastic 10/10
We went out for dinner on Mother’s Day. Initially, everything went well - we were seated promptly and our order was taken quickly. However, things took a turn for the worse after we finished our meal. We had to wait 40 minutes for our waiter to clear our table and bring us the bill. I had to ask the hostess to remind our waiter to come over. When a waitress finally came with the bill, she didn't even give us a chance to review it. We ended up with a new server without being informed of the change. Despite seeing our original server elsewhere, he never returned to us. This lack of communication and slow service was unacceptable, especially considering it wasn't even busy at the time. We were disappointed by the whole experience and never received an apology for the delay. This ruined our meal and left us feeling unappreciated. I would suggest that the restaurant review their customer service practices, as this experience was lacking in care and attention. Although I usually tip generously, I did not feel inclined to do so in this instance. Unfortunately, I do not plan on returning to this restaurant in the future.
I am here to share my experience from two weeks ago at this restaurant. My server, Monica, who I later found out also works at the Burlington location, did an exceptional job. She introduced herself, patiently answered all of our questions, described the meals we were interested in, and made us feel like our order was important. She urged us to ask any additional questions as she passed by. After our meal, she checked in on us, presented the bill, and welcomed us back with a friendly smile and positive attitude. Overall, it was a delightful experience. Great job, Monica!
