Ludwig IV - Bingen am Rhein

If you need a change from all wines, this could be the place where you can grab a carving and a beer. They will have decent food and fast service, but it is neither regional nor exceptional.

This is not the old beer garden was the service slow and the food was just fair. The new Ludwig IV has new employees, a great menu, a great service and a lot of entertainment with Bavarian atmosphere. Beautiful place to enjoy a beautiful German summer afternoon or evening.

I was there twice, one in summer, once in winter. This place has a great location under large oaks right on the banks of the Rhine. In winter I had S carving with Pommes, the service was boring and harassed when they had to serve a table. Now they have new menu and I was noticed to try again to sit in their beer garden. The waitress came about 10 minutes after I sat at the table. I ordered a beer and a Bavaruan meat cheese. The meat cheese came within 5 minutes. It was salted, the bread was missing. I wouldn't recommend it at all. But even worse, I had to remind the waiters three times about the missing beer. If you only want a drink, then this could be a good place, but tI would not recommend food yet! Great location poor service poor food!

Das Lokal profitiert von seiner Lage.Im Biergarten leider lautes Freiluftgedudel,das die Unterhaltung und den Naturgenuß beeinträchtigt.Daher werden wir wohl nicht mehr dort einkehren.Kuchen gut,Essen mittelmäßig.
