Garage Tacos - Binghamton

After being mistakenly charged for another table's bill last night, I called today to address the issue. The management response was alarming; I was told to come to the restaurant, and I would be physically confronted. It's disappointing to see that the staff isn’t properly trained. With 35 years of experience in the industry, specifically in ownership and leadership, I can see that this reflects a bigger problem. The food is excellent, but the overall service feels chaotic. The lack of training clearly stems from the top down. I typically dine out several times a week and enjoy recommending places with great experiences, but unfortunately, I won't be returning to Garage Taco.

Open mics on Tuesdays at 7pm show up and have a great time! Support the local artists and show them some love! Great place to be yourself and get some good food and drinks.

Fun atmosphere, food you can eat with your hands, and a friendly staff? Sign me up. They have wine in a can. This place ain 't pretentious!The tacos are the highlight, and don 't sleep on their side salad. It 's also a good place to knock back a few on a date or after work (if you work downtown, that is, otherwise parking can be tricky). You get the fun and liveliness of downtown without all the extra of being closer to State St.Wait times for tables can be up to 40 minutes, but the bar is first come first serve, so if you see a spot, grab it. You 'll be able to order from the full menu. Portion sizes are generous, so you won 't be hungry when you walk out.

First time going to this establishment. Celebrated my granddaughter's birthday, the service was excellent, and there were 13 of us. The food was delicious, and I was already planning my next visit back.

Fantastic spot for lunch! I tried fish tacos for the first time, and they were amazing. My aunt ordered the chicken quesadilla, and we shared a heaping plate of loaded fries. I can't wait to bring my boyfriend here; I know he’ll really enjoy the atmosphere!
