I just kept it with a huge bowl of fresh crab corn soup. it was brilliant, full of crabs and more like a stew. the brew of the choice was the local geaghan brothers stein song german light lager in Bangor/Brewer maine brewed. with light it means its lightest brewing offer that they sing, but do not wear leather pants and do the watschetanz (leg, shoe and rag-shock dance.) with nostalgic sounds of crispy münchner malz and a bouquet of floral notions from German noble hops, it is the next thing that I come to the octoberfest.
Food was good, but service was lucky to get two lovely setting, but service lets it down.
Bunkers Wharf is a great find tucked away in a very quiet area near Schoodic Point. The mussels in wine were the best ever. A great hamburger and a great salad accompanied by a delicious white wine made the day.
Beautiful view. Excellent service. I had the scallops. Melt in your mouth delicious. We went back the next day with friends. Ask for a window seat.
Stated they didn 't check open table reservation because they were busy but seated us anyway since we were a party of two. Manhattan made with no vermouth, entree did not arrive until 1 1/2 hours after we were seated. Sent out shrimp cocktail and salad (did not ask for or want) at the same time the entree arrived as a sorry for the wait. Manager sent out server (who was working hard) to apologize to every table and finally admitted the cook staff quit suddenly and without warning. Never offered any consideration on the bill. Problems happen, its how you fix it that counts.
