Epirus Greek - Birkenhead

Came here today for my sister's birthday meal and had the chicken meatballs for beginners and the mixed grill for the net. Really nice eating and the staff are beautiful.

I really enjoyed the service and the atmosphere of this restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised by the portion sizes as well. The salmon was tender and flavorful, and the kebabs were fantastic. My favorite dish was definitely the starter chicken soup, which came with cheesy garlic bread that was absolutely delicious. In the end, I had to take some of my food home because I couldn't finish it all.

The staff was incredibly attentive and took our orders promptly. Our drinks were served quickly, but the food took a bit longer than we anticipated. This was understandable, as they were doing their best to serve a large number of dishes at once, ensuring everyone could enjoy their meal together. The food itself was absolutely fantastic. It was clear that high-quality ingredients were used, and everything was cooked to perfection. The portion sizes were generous, so I would recommend not overindulging in the free appetizers. We also appreciated being able to take our leftovers home; the staff provided takeaway boxes, and the food was still delicious the next day. The only downside was the small size of the tables, which made it difficult to accommodate our large group comfortably. However, the staff went above and beyond by bringing out a birthday cake that we had brought, singing “Happy Birthday” with us, and even helping us cut the cake and serving it to the already full diners. Overall, I had a great experience and will definitely return in the future!

Excellent eating, well prepared and huge portions that do not like

Nice, clean and tidy place. Friendly and welcome atmosphere. Small but off-road parking. Portions are super tasty and massive! Bear in mind those hot starters came on big plates. We were there in 4 and we couldn’t finish 3 starters and 4 meals lol. If I ever back to Liverpool you can be sure I’m back for more!
