Applebee's Grill - Birmingham

We're here at 6:45. It took 25 minutes to have our drinks that are actually a few minutes before our food!! To be honest, our server had 4 tables to serve, they had already dinner on the table!! 25 minutes waiting for drinks?. Empty place!! My friend asked about a corona, after that time she says they didn't!???? Finally our food comes to the table and to the booom!! I ordered salmon with Broccoli, and she brought me PLASTIC cutlery?. PLASTIC!!! Are you serious? I never paid money to eat plastic cutlery!! I asked the sever, you know what she said? Just that they don't have clean cutlery! Really?? At 7:30 for dinner????? So if you're not clean for dinner time, when would you????? Only RIDICULOUS, RIDICULOUS!! Besides, the food was great.

Very warm for our big party! All employees were polite and efficient. The food was good.

I put my order on the line and it said my order would be ready at 5:49. I waited for my food at 5:30. Cars drove extremely crazy through the parking lot. There was a young man who had to open the door for the customers to come in and out of the restaurant. I tried to get his attention as he looked directly at me, but he rolled his eyes and closed the door. There was a young lady who had something to eat to bring the cars she asked me my name and said she would check out, she never came out again. I had to call to the restaurant at 6:00 to check my food, said the young lady, I would have brought your food out and then she came with my food and apologized for the waiting time and my food was just sitting on the bar. The Burbon Street Chicken and the rest of the food was delicious, that was the best part of the whole situation and the young lady was very sweet.

Food is always great and a great value. The staff was glad to see us and it showed. One of my favorite restaurants. You can't go wrong.

Indoor dining. Need to use Restroom. Host was nice about IT. At CVS for J&J vaccine!!!
