Chow Town - Birmingham

First time here. Have been seeing the advertisement for this place for a few months. Drove 45 minutes to try and not disappointed. Would drive from Tuscaloosa for this anytime ?

I don't write reviews often, but this warrants a review.I don't know how else to say this but the fries they served were the Walmart frozen fries. Very little of their food was fresh made out of house, and was also very bland which was disappointing given they charge about 18$ per person. For that same money I could have easily gotten groceries and cooked better food at home with the benefit of it *actually* being fresh and good. Only good food of note was the ribs but only because the barbecue sauce they slathered on them was good.This was an incredibly disappointing experience, but at the very least the staff was wonderful! Despite being packed out, our waiter was very kind and tentative to our needs.I doubt I will be returning anytime soon with friends or family.

Nothing to complain about! Do the hibachi FIRST. You'll thank me.
