Very great atmosphere and customer service! Food was excellent and the bread pudding was delicious! We will be back!!

My experience was great! Sherry was an amazing server and was even able to give us background history on the founding of the restaurant. They were very knowledgeable about the drinks and food choices which made it easier and more comforting. I am definitely coming back and hope to see this restaurant gain more customers in the future. If you're thinking about trying it, don't think. Just do it!

Kamali Creole Kitchen has great food, nice New Orleans style music playing, awesome drinks, and an excellent atmosphere. They all have pleasant attitudes, and it’s family operated.

A refreshing taste of authentic Creole in Birmingham what a treat! My husband and I went to school in Mobile, so we love good New Orleans-style food, and Kamali Creole Kitchen did not disappoint! We started off with the spinach dip (unique and deliciously cheesy). It was free with the purchase of a drink! Then we both had po' boys which were delicious and huge two large sandwiches plus two sides. We both had the gumbo side (great mix of meat and rice and just enough kick My husband enjoyed the dirty rice side, and I loved the jambalaya. And then we ordered some beignets They were so fresh out of the oven! I brought them back for my family, and they loved them too <3 We can't wait to go back for Mardi Gras! While we were there, I heard it was owned by a local family, and you can really tell they take great pride in serving good food. Amidst everything going on in the world, I love to see hard work ethic poured into serving others like they have done. Also, unlike some of the posts have mentioned, the cost was VERY reasonable when you note the amount of food (I brought home half of my po' boy and part of a side, plus some beignets), and pricing was certainly competitive with other local restaurants. (Plus, have you seen prices at the grocery store? Everything is going up Regarding service, everyone was so kind and accommodating. We had plenty of time to enjoy each other's company and our food but were still in and out within an hour.
