Out of two (common) drinks we ordered.Second food. It’s ok. Not horrible, but also not great. Had the guac/bacon fritters, pabellón and fajita (small meat portions). Just ok. Nothing to write home about. Not particularly kid friendly, which is ok, and not reason for my three star review, but is something folks might want to know.
Authentic Latin cuisine. They didn't have a kids menu but I was able to order a kids quesadilla. The food was excellent. Very big portions. Taste was great. It all came out hot. I would recommend it. I think our waitress was new. She didn't really ask us about refills or anything. We had to ask her and she wasn't sure of our drinks. Still, she was nice and the food came out right. she wasn't afraid to go ask someone for an answer she didn't know either. So, maybe it's just growing pains and she will get better. Nevertheless it was a good experience.
Food was amazing. I had the shredded chicken quesadilla. The fries seemed a bit old greasy but the quesadilla made up for it so i’m not so upset. The waitress seemed a bit overloaded thus we didn’t receive the best overall service or attentiveness. The vibes weren’t really there either. Next time I’ll either grab the food for takeout or go elsewhere.
This was an unexpected dinner as i was looking for something i could walk to from Avondale Brewing. They have great indoor/outdoor seating. The food and drinks were very good.
The food is fantastic. Love the tostones with pork. The spicy melon margarita won best cocktail in the ‘ham for a reason! And the service is great. Kaitlyn is the best Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options! Better than average for Birmingham.
