Antep Turkish Cuisine - Birmingham

So it was our first time trying Antep, and just wanted to say the food was amazing. Succulent, juicy and flavourful. There was a lovely appetiser which was bread and humus an other condiments. The service was quick and friendly. The food arrived not too long after. There’s child friendly changing area upstairs. Toilets were nice and clean. The waiter was lovely, very helpful and able to give a recommendation as 10 of us had gone. Overall, I would say if you are visiting for food make sure to check it out. If your going for aesthetics, perhaps try elsewhere. The decor needs a little help that’s all’s

This restaurant used to be nice, but it is not worth it anymore. The prices are too high and the taste has changed, and I'm not sure why.

We had a meal at this restaurant on Monday, it was empty, no music or atmosphere. The server was lovely and very helpful unfortunately the food was disappointing. I had the meze starter for two which had 5 set dishes including hummus. I don’t eat halloumi so asked if this could be changed for an alternative. After speaking with the chef the server returned and said all he was willing do do was increase one of the items already included in the meze, I could not choose something different. The meze came but unfortunately the calamari was hard and overcooked and the three dishes were not hot. My partner had fish which she said had a lovely flavor but was overcooked and dry, the rice which came with it was hard seemed like it had just been heated up. We would not go again which is unfortunate as the reviews were very positive. It could just be that because we don’t drink we are more aware of what we are eating.

Excellent food , excellent service . Reasonable price Nice place for birthday party, I have celebrated my kids birthday feel special by owner and staff . I loved the place and would love to go again , strongly recommend place for nice meal. Thanks you for staff and management Zeshan
