I waited for over 30 minutes and was then addressed by a waitress who asked me if I wanted another coffee. I couldn't afford to wait and said I was gone." I was not offered a refund. they did not seem to be particularly busy at that time.
Eating was disappointing average considering that the menu would sound very promising. the interior is pretty. the clientel is obviously exercise mums, so it's good if babies in strollers are their ding. I will not go back and recommend to miss him, but they will decide for themselves.
My second visit to arco this afternoon (7th jan 2014) but unfortunately my last one. beautiful place (if very dark), good coffee, okay tapas. but the barman preferred to pamper our journey by making inappropriate comments to my friend than she went to pay. we were not charged for the lecherous bar service.
Perhaps the best culinary experience I ever had. absolutely amazing service. great eating and the experience was unforgettable. a special thanks to pav!
We recently visited Bangla Lounge in Harborne and had a wonderful time. This time, there were six of us instead of just three friends. We started with the delicious imli starter, followed by the mix jaipuri dish which was a delightful experience. The dish was not too spicy, but packed with flavor and had a satisfying balance of lamb and vegetables. For appetizers, we enjoyed lamb Samosa, prawn on puri, and a trio of appetizers. We all chose peshwari naans to accompany our meal, which were crispy, soft, and topped with a delicious syrup and nuts. The jaipuri dish paired perfectly with the sweet naan. One person in our group opted for pilaureis instead of naan and also ordered a creamy and fragrant corma dish. We washed down our meal with cold cobra beers. Despite being too full for dessert, we were treated to complimentary coffee and brandy to celebrate my wife's birthday. The staff was busy but remained polite and provided prompt service. The poppadoms were fresh and served with a variety of dips. The appetizers were delicious, especially the 'ilam ilam ilam' dish which had just the right amount of heat and acidity. My mixed jalfrezi was flavorful with tender pieces of lamb. The highlight of the meal was the nan bread, which was thin, crispy, and incredibly tender. The portion sizes were just right and we all left satisfied. We left a generous tip as the experience was truly enjoyable. I would definitely recommend Bangla Lounge and look forward to returning in the future.
