Evergreen Chinese And Cantonese Takeaway

This restaurant was decent until a few months ago when they served me double-cooked prawns in batter. It was clear that they had reused leftover prawns and rebattered them. A few weeks later, I gave them another chance, but the sweet and sour sauce smelled like old urine. I was extremely disappointed and almost went in to complain. The service was terrible. I will never order from this place again.

Favourite local Chinese. Vegetable curry is a winner. The chips are really nice too. Can't comment on many other options as I'm veggie.

Stopped here for a quick take out-very nice . My brother said their spring rolls were fantastic and he would like to go back .

We were disappointed by our dining experience at this restaurant. Despite positive reviews on Tripadvisor, the dishes were consistently unpleasant and nothing stood out. We ended up leaving most of our food uneaten. Additionally, we found that the website provided incorrect information about selections and prices. The owner seemed unconcerned about misleading the public and appeared to be unaware of the legal implications. We will not be returning.

We hardly ever get takeaway food but our daughter really wanted a Chinese meal so we ordered from Evergreen as it’s local. I can’t remember what we ordered because my overriding recollection is of scraggy bits of meat swimming in a glutinous sauce accompanied by chunks of onion and green pepper. The one redeeming dish was the Yuk Sung lettuce wraps which were tasty but a lot of the rest ended up in the bin.
