Mindi House - Birmingham

I wouldn't come back in a million years since the place was dirty, cooking equipment was clear not for what seemed to be months. the personal turned out to serve customers, even to take an order, to avoid eye contact or recognition of their essentiality, even though they were not at all busy! a bizarre experience that is least to say. all in all, it was a huge departure, as eating was actually uniquely flavored and the menu had some interesting elements (compared to other 'middle eastern' foods in the opposite).

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. We ordered the platter for 3 and it came after 3 minutes. Food was not fresh and we knew it was from the day before. It was tasteless and the quality did not reflect the price of £28 at all! Rice tasted like sand for some reason and everything was cold. No one could continue eating as we felt sick. We spoke to the owner and he was getting angry and talking aggressively. They only accept cash and when we asked how come there's a card machine there he said there's no electricity?? Place very unhygienic and claustrophobic. Never coming back again and recommend people to avoid this place. Not real mandi at all. EDIT: Thank God it's shut as it's under maintenance now

Food taste is so delicious. A good portion. They just need to care about hygiene standards

Really enjoyed the platter which is served here. Highly highly recommended
