Use this takeaway regularly and always plenty of chicken in the curries. Korai is very good and better half enjoys chicken tikka bhuna. Delivery is always on time and staff pleasant when I call to order.

Reasonably priced curry house with fairly standard menu. Pleasant environment and service have visited occasionally.

Although it 's virtually on my doorstep, I 've only recently begun using this takeaway on a regular basis, and I 'm very impressed. Some of the curries are quite hot, but not to the detriment of the flavour. Unlike one of the previous reviewers, who seemed unable to grasp Just Eat discounts are only available if food is ordered via Just Eat, I have both taken advantage of Cheeky Tuesday and collected in person (it 's an option on the Just Eat website if you but look).

1st experience of Balti Pickles was disappointing food. My wife went to order the food from the shop and arranged to deliver at 19.30. We ordered the set meal for 1 and tandoori chicken. The set meal for 1 consists of poppadom, onion salad mint sauce. Sheek kebab starter and chicken tikka massala main, Pilau rice or keema naan. poppadoms and sheek kebab where fine but the chicken tikka massala was extremely sweet no spice flavouring very bland and has 3 chunks of chicken in it. We ordered a keema naan which there was no sign of and ended up with pilau rice. Tandoori chicken should have been half a chicken as pictured on the front of there menu served with salad got 2 chicken legs and absolutely no salad what so ever. Was expecting an onion bhaji as the order was over £15 as stated on there menu, not received. The driver that delivered the food was pleasant enough but was looking for payment but my wife had all ready paid at the shop on order, total lack of communication. Food was ordered for 19.30 and turned up at 19.45 after a call to the shop. First and the last time we will be visiting Balti Pickles.

Upon returning home with our 'mixed balti' and 'chicken prawn balti' dishes, we were further disappointed to find that the chicken was completely missing and the prawn portions were very small. Despite searching, we could not find any lamb or chicken in the dishes. Overall, we were not satisfied with our experience and would not dine at this restaurant again. The prices were high, the service was unprofessional, and they seemed to lack understanding of good customer service. In my opinion, they falsely advertised the discount offer as it should apply to all orders. I would recommend avoiding this restaurant and seeking out better dining options in the area.
