Pisces Fish - Birmingham

I regret to say that the quality of the food at this restaurant has declined. The batter is no longer light and crispy, and the chips now have a chewiness to them as if they were double fried. It is no longer my favorite place for fish and chips in Birmingham.

I regularly use Pisces Fish Bar delivery service which is great on a busy Friday night at the end of the week when you just want to relax. The food always arrives on time hot and delicious portions are big. When I do go into the fish bar the staff are always friendly

I went on Saturday to order some food to takeout. I ordered through the food hub app for collection and pay in cash came in the guy just said they don’t do Foodhub orders anymore, only just eat and Uber eats as the online payment machine doesn’t work. He was coming across quite unprofessional the way he was talking to me as a customer. There was a sticker on the chip shop window saying they take Foodhub orders. When I ordered my food to takeout The chips were soggy undercooked and the battered was ok but could’ve done with batter being crispy. Overall the service was disappointing, the shop decor could do with a refurb and food wasn’t as good at all.

Just had the best fish n chips I've had in years. Use these guys regularly but tonight was top drawer 10/10

I recently dined at Pisces and was extremely impressed with the service and the quality of the food. I felt the need to share my positive experience with others. Upon entering the restaurant, I immediately noticed the high level of cleanliness, which was superb. The staff was friendly and engaging, even though they were busy. I am quite particular about my food, but they were accommodating to my requests. I ordered the chicken kebab with chips, topped with their delicious hot sauce, along with a side of salad, fish bites, a saveloy sausage, and some chips. I would like to give a special shout out to Jay, Mo, and T, who were all very friendly and welcoming. I look forward to returning soon for more delicious food and enjoyable conversations. I also want to mention their father, who was also very kind.
