Shard End Balti Indian Take Away

Food was realy nice as usual. I have never had a problem. Sometimes have to wait a while but thats becouse they are busy so cant be doing too bad..Better than kingfisher by far..

Used this place for 20 years always been pretty decent not keen on there currys. But they definitely no how to make a 5 star balti. One of the best I have ever had. Keep the good work up lads. Chicken tikka chilled balti spot on. Simply the best.

They use cheap curry powder, i order 3 meals, 3 peshawri naan and 1 garlic naan. They gave me 2 plain naan breads, rang them up and they said if i went they would do me 3 peshwari naans, when i got home, 1 was peshari the other was plain and the 3rd was garlic. When asked for a discount he said i've given you a discount already which was the offer and more or less threw the naans at me

I have used Shard End balti for more years than I can remember and have always had a pleasurable experience. However Saturday evening was the final time I will ever order from them. I ordered by phone and collected my order which was read back to me both on the phone and when I collected it. Veg samosa, mushroom balti, Naan and papadum. I got my order home, all as it should be or so it appeared....... Veg samosa on the food container, bite into it and a mouth full of mince! I'm absolutely disgusted that someone was so negligent to allow this to occur. I haven't eaten meat for over 30 years so you can imagine how traumatising this was. Ok so I was offered a replacement which quite frankly after biting into the meat samosa my appetite was lost. I did accept the offer which when delivered was undercooked and went straight in the bin. Such as a shame because as I said I've used this place for longer than I can remember as have all my family. Looks like I'll be finding a new take away!

Have used this place for years. Always a lovely meal with good delivery about 45 mins.delivered nice and hot.
