Contribuisci feedbackFriendly and welcoming staff, We didn’t book,But he managed to find us a table, even though it was an extremely busy Sunday late afternoon.(I would recommend that you book as it seems very popular). We both had the carvery which was really tasty and really well prepared. Very reasonably priced. We have also had the takeaway carvery from here. Can highly recommend that too. (Especially if you fancy a roast on Sunday but don’t want to leave the house or cook). Great family friendly place.
Beef was awful so had to change for turkey. Couldn’t even cut into it. However, the table server was amazing and so professional, efficient and kind. 5 stars to Lorna awesome.
Went for a carvery, dreadful, soggy Yorkshire pudding, overcooked vegetables, tasteless and almost black roast potatoes. The only positive feedback, the staff were very friendly.
Had a festive meal for 8 today at The Fox. Absolutely fabulous food. All of the dishes were well cooked and served hot. Loved the bowl of pork crackling to add. Starters amazing and good sized portions. Heavenly desserts. I must also mention the staff who were really polite and helpful. Nothing too much trouble and no long waiting in-between courses. I will definitely be going again and recommending to friends and relatives. Manager was really friendly and helpful and you felt that he appreciated your visit.
Bar staff seemed grumpy, we had a bar drink, carvery each and wine with meal. Carvery meat (beef) was nice, but my portion not any different to my friends small carvery portion which was odd ... cauliflower in cauliflower cheese was so hard, it had sprinkle of paprika on top but not browned.. on a positive the roasters were lovely, gravy not very hot though ... Overall ok but could do with improvement ... Sorry
